How Long Does the Program Take?

The program is 1000 clock hours, and the length of the program is about 30 weeks.

The program is divided into pre-clinical classroom instruction, followed by clinical hands-on experience. California Barbering Licensure

Graduates of our program are fully prepared and eligible to take the California State Board Licensing Exam to become a licensed barber in California. No applicant can take the licensing exam until they have completed the 1000 hours of training.
